The Einscan-SP desktop 3D scanner offers an efficient desktop scanning system that can capture sub-millimeter resolution and accuracy on parts between the volume of 0.8 in3 / 20 mm3 to about  2 ft3 / 700 mm3. Compared to the SE model, the SP offers both feature and coded target alignment which makes it easier to scan cylindrical shapes, wide surfaces, and improves the accuracy per shot to 50 microns/  .002 inch per shot. The Einscan-SP 3D scanner produces a point cloud with 0.17-0.2 millimeter point spacing which forms a dense point cloud with high accuracy to represent minuscule surface details. 

This Shining 3D Einscan-SP model also scans twice as fast as the SE model (0.5 second vs 1 second), making it the more efficient model for scanning multiple parts or larger objects. A separate tripod is included to help capture objects up to 2 feet3. 

Operating the desktop 3D scanner is simple: place an object onto the turntable and hit the scan button. Full objects are typically scanned in less than a minute, and images in less than four seconds. The turntable will rotate a specified number of steps and capture the different faces of the object. Turn your model around to capture it at various angles and let the included software, ExScan, reconstruct the full 3D object for export to a mesh format: STL, OBJ, ASC, or PLY. True color in 24-bits for a rich color profile is also available for each scan!

Mesh editing software include free software such as Meshmixer and Meshlab which provide many good tools for improving the file for 3D printing. 3D graphics software such as Z-Brush and Substance Painter can help make game-engine, animation, or movie assets. Rhino 3D and SolidEdge are two CAD software that have good mesh compatibility for designing with the mesh files. Siemens NX, Catia, Fusion 360 and SolidWorks are a few other CAD software with some mesh tools or plugins that can use the mesh file as a reference for design work.

Warranty Options

A standard 2-year warranty from the date of purchase is included to cover repairs of scanner failure due to manufacturing defects with a target completion of 7 to 14 days. If the product is found to be defective within 30 days of arrival, then it will be replaced with a new unit.

An additional 1-year premium warranty can be purchased now or before the end of 2-year complimentary warranty. Please contact us for a quote.

Premium care provides you with priority support such as front-of-the-queue 1 to 2 day target completion, coverage of return shipping costs, and 5% discount on accessories. If the repair will take longer than 3 days, then a loaner scanner of your model will be provided to you until the repair is finished.

Misuse, abuse, wear and tear, environmental or natural disasters, and other unwarranted
damages are not covered by any warranty plan.
