Ordering & Shipping

What are my delivery options?

All of our products are delivered from California to your door. Order is processed within 1-2 business days.

Free Standard shipping is available for any order with pre-tax total of $75 or above. Standard shipping takes 5-6 business days.

Priority shipping (1-2 business days) and Express shipping (3-4 business days) are available at a charge.

What are my payment options?

Customer can choose to pay the purchase by credit card on the website. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.

How do I know when my order will be delivered?

As soon as your order is sent out, you will be notified by a “Shipping Confirmation” email. This will contain the shipping details for your order and a unique tracking number. You will be able to track the status of your delivery via the online tools offered by our preferred courier.

How do I return my product once it has been delivered?

As per our 100% satisfaction guarantee, if you are not fully satisfied with your scanner, you can return it within 30 days from the day after you received it. Restocking fee applies, please see our Return & Exchange, Warranty Policy and Terms and Conditions for more details.

What do I do if the item is incorrect / damaged when delivered?

Please contact us immediately if your product is not complete or incorrect when delivered. You should contact us within 30 days from the date you received the item.

We will organize the return shipment for the damaged/incorrect item and send a replacement to you as soon as possible.

What do I do if the product does not work?

We offer a one-year warranty that covers any manufacturing defects on all products. If you find any defect within 30 days from the date you received the product, we will replace the item with a new unit.

If your scanner needs to be sent back for repair within the warranty period, we will provide a loaner unit for your projects according to our Warranty Policy.

What is the warranty policy?

Warranty - Einscan 3D Scanners

We offer at least one-year standard warranty that cover any manufacturing defects that cause the Einscan 3D Scanner not working as intended, with a target repair completion time of 10 to 14 days.  

The warranty does not cover any faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

You can also choose to buy premium warranty option at additional cost.

Extended 2-year premium warranty can be bought at the time of purchase of the scanner or before the expiry of the first year warranty. Premium care provides you with priority support, including:

(1) front-of-the-queue within 1 to 2 days target completion,

(2) coverage of return shipping costs,

(3) 5% discount on accessories, and 

(4) If the repair will take longer than 3 days, then a loaner scanner of your model will be provided to you until the repair is finished. 

If you purchase the extended 2-year premium warranty, the initial year of standard warranty will be converted into premium warranty without additional charge, i.e. you can enjoy 3-year premium warranty.

Misuse, accident, neglect, abuse, wear and tear, environmental or natural disasters, and other unwarranted damages are not covered by any warranty plan.

 

Warranty - Metrology 3D Scanners (Freescan Combo, Freescan Trio)

We offer at least one-year standard warranty that cover any manufacturing defects that cause the Metrology 3D Scanner not working as intended, with a target repair completion time of 21 to 30 days.  

The warranty does not cover any faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.

Extended 1-year warranty can be bought at the time of purchase of the scanner or before the expiry of the first year warranty.  

Misuse, accident, neglect, abuse, wear and tear, environmental or natural disasters, and other unwarranted damages are not covered by any warranty plan.

Getting Started & Setup

Once I receive the equipment, how do I get started?

The USB drive provided with your 3D scanner includes a PDF user guide, software, and information to help you get started.

We provide free video tutorials for your scanner and offer training services at an hourly rate. Contact us for more details.

What do I need to run the Einscan scanners?

The one thing you will need is a computer to connect your scanner to. There are plenty of different options available; however, our selection of scanners is fairly demanding in terms of resources. Make sure you read our Hardware requirements on the product page for more information.

Is there any software I need to install before scanning?

Yes, you need to install the Shining 3D scanning software before you can start scanning. You can find the download link on each product page under the Quick Start Resource section. Alternatively, the installer is also included on the USB drive that comes with every Shining 3D scanner unit.

Where can I download the latest software and drivers?

The latest version of the Shining 3D scanning software and drivers can be downloaded from the Quick Start Resource section on the product page. We keep this page updated to ensure you always have access to the most recent and stable version.

Do I need an internet connection to use the scanner?

You don’t need an internet connection to operate the scanner. However, internet access is required when logging in to the Shining 3D software for the first time or when performing software updates.

Product & Compatibility

Are your 3D scanners compatible with third-party software?

Yes, our 3D scanners support standard output formats such as .STL, .OBJ, and .PLY, making them compatible with a wide range of third-party reverse engineering and inspection software.

In particular, EinScan products are fully integrated with EXModel Reverse Engineering Software, enabling a seamless workflow from 3D scanning to CAD model generation. This integration simplifies the process of converting scan data into editable CAD files, making it ideal for professionals in design, manufacturing, and product development.

Can I scan dark, shiny, or complex-shaped objects?

Absolutely. Many of our scanners are optimized for low-geometry and black surfaces using IR or blue laser technology. Contact us for the best model for your needs.
